Cannington Church of England Primary has six classes.

Class 1- Class one is taught by Mrs Matthews. Here children follow the Foundation Stage Curriculum.

Children in Key Stage 1 work in class 2 and class 3.

Class 2 is taught by Mrs Adams. This is our Year 1/2 class.

Class 3 is taught by Mrs Barnett. This is a Year 2/3 class.

The majority of our Key Stage 2 children are taught in classes 4,5and 6.

Class 4 contains children from Years 3 and 4. The class teacher is Miss O'Reilly.

Class 5 contains children from years 4 and 5. This class is taught by Mrs Walsh.

Class 6 is taught by Mrs Doney and Mrs Spilsbury. This class contains year 6 children.

During Year 2 your child will be assessed for their KS1 SAT's

During Year 6 your child will complete their Key Stage 2 SATS and prepare to move on to their secondary school, this is usually Haygrove Secondary School.

Here at Cannington we are very lucky to have our own music teacher, Mrs Rowley, who teaches music to each class every week. Mrs Rowley also runs recorder clubs and organises regular school performances.
